• Receiving hundreds of e-mails like this on my server. Started up a week ago. I deactivated “revolutionary slider” it fixed the issue. Few hours later, it started up again. I’ve researched this is a firewall issue — BUT WHY is it happening?
    Could this be a hack?!

  • Doesn’t look like it’s anything to do with WordPress directly. Have you spoken to your hosts about it?

I have spoken to my host. They said it was coming from wordpress & to look into the plugins.

But honestly, the site — from a user standpoint– looks fine. It’s running nicely with fine speed.

In that case, all I can suggest is:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

EDIT: Or switch to a better host as a last resort…

Okay, thank you for the advice, I will try it and hope for the best outcome.
I was worried someone hacked my site. Hopefully it is just a plugin. I have 6 active plugins.
