Exclude a category from feed
Is there already a way to do this?

First head to Products > All Products, and select the Export button up-top, above the product list.
From the Export Products screen, select the category which you wish to be excluded, along with “export custom meta?” checkbox, followed by the Generate CSV button (as showcased in the screenshot here).
In the resulting CSV file, feel free to change the status in the “Meta: _wc_gla_visibility” column values to “dont-sync-and-show“. The default values would be as showcased in the screenshot linked here.
Upon importing the CSV file, the products for that category should have the new sync setting applied.
Or are you (hopefully) planning to add this in the future?

Yes, this fixes it, but it will not make future products in those categories be excluded from google sync. So I will have to do this over and over again when we add new products en masse. This is why implementing it directly in your extension panel as (for instance) a rule we can activate for certain categories / types / etc etc
