Exclude categories from sidebar category widget

    I’m not sure if this is a support question or a feature request…

    My site has two completely different kinds of posts: standard public blog posts and ‘specials’ posts that are dedicated to a completely different kind of page –> /vs-specials/. Completely different design formats.

    When people visit the blog pages, we can’t have the ‘specials’ category mixed in with the regular blog categories in the sidebar. And so far, my only solution has been to hand-build a ‘categories’ widget in text.

    UCE doesn’t appear to offer a solution.

    From what you’ve described, this plugin doesn’t support what you’re trying to do. I hope you can find a plugin that does.
