Could you please first delete the categories, save the options and then add the categories again and resave the options?

Did this work in the previous version of the plugin?

    I already did it.
I tried to delete plugin with files, reinstall it, but problem is always present.

And it was working with precedent version of plugin.

I just delete this version and reinstall version 2.1.1
    It’s working great.
    Problem is in 2.2.0

    Thanks for confirming this.

I’ve noticed this bug on one of my sites as well, which I think is possibly the way the taxonomies are handled. I’m looking into this as well to get it fixed.

    Hi,

On further checking, this issue could be because of the term splitting that occurred in WordPress 4.2 and the plugin was pulling out the term_id instead of the term_taxonomy_id

I’ve updated the code that processes the exclude categories and pushed a version into the Github repository.

When I release 2.2.1 tomorrow, you will need to re-save the plugin settings page in order for this to take effect.

v2.2.1 has been released. I recommend resetting to default options and making the changes after that.

I did the update. All seems to be ok.
    Great job.
