Exclude categories or posts?

Is there a way of preventing certain posts from displaying on the favorites output page (page with {{wp-favorite-posts}}?

The plugin is including “Sticky” posts, along with the favorites selected by users. Not sure if this is a bug, but if I could exclude those posts, then it wouldn’t be a problem…
