    Hello,

I have an upload folder accross multiple multisites which contains thousands of very small files. I wish to exclude this folder but it seems that I cannot do it.

I want to do it simply with something like

    /var/www/production/shared/wp-content/uploads/sites/*/folder/*

but it does not seem to be working as I have seen some ‘possible redirect files’ warning from these folders. I have tried doing one line per site as well but this also continues to show the warning. The scans also stop at this point which is not a good thing.

    What can be done?

    Thanks

Hi @traqbar, thanks for reaching out.

Some Wordfence customers certainly use Wordfence > All Options > Scan Options > Advanced Scan Options > Exclude files from scan that match these wildcard patterns to exclude cache files or upload folders from the scan as you mention.

Note that you don’t need the absolute path, just the relative path from your WordPress root, so wp-content/uploads/sites/* etc. should be sufficient.

    Many thanks,
    Peter.
