Please see there is an options for displaying automatically on archive pages, you can unchecked “Home” & “Front page” to hide related posts on homepage

Displaying automatically on archive pages is unchecked everywhere. The plugin is still loaded on the homepage. It would be nice if I could exclude the homepage.

it is a custom template with auto-generated home page. I think this is the problem / a conflict. I would generally like to be able to exclude pages, especially the home page.
