In wp admin, I deleted the cache. Then I deleted the cache, from my mobile phone, but found that the icons still appeared on mobile.
So, as you suggested, I deactivated the caching plugin, then deleted the cache from my mobile phone, but the icons still appear on mobile.
Also, I asked a friend to browse to the website on his mobile phone. My friend has never viewed the site from his mobile phone before. But from his phone, he could see the icons that I have attempted to exclude.
Right now, The caching plugin is still disabled.
