‘exclude image from sitemap’ doesn’t work | ww.wp.xz.cn

Hellow @rankmath

I have set the image to both ‘noindex’ and ‘no image index’ in the Rank math meta box under Advanced Tab by editing the individual images in the media library. And check the box ‘exclude image from sitemap’.

But the image still appears in the sitemap. What should I do?

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

It seems to be working fine on our end.

It could be because of the Sitemap cache. Please update the Sitemap Settings/Permalinks to flush the Sitemap cache.

Please follow these steps?
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
