Exclude / include posts by post type, id etc.

    Hi guys,

    Would it be possible to add filters to include and/or exclude posts by post type, post ID etc?

    I have a site with hundreds of thousands of posts from bbPress, events plugins etc. As well as some custom post types containing sensitive data. We’d like to be able to exclude these posts from the sync to keep the size down and so the developer who has access to the staging site can’t see these posts.

    Also, the production site will continue to get new posts of these types during development and by excluding them, maybe we can selectively sync back changes without needing to import any new posts first.

    at the moment this is not possible but might be a future feature.

    < maybe we can selectively sync back changes without needing to import any new posts first.

    This can lead to complications as the post id’s would likely change and dependencies between posts and postmeta table could break.

    So I am sorry for not having a better answer for you.

    Thanks for the reply. Awesome, it would be great to see a post type filter as a future feature 🙂 I think a lot of people would find it useful.

    And no problems re: the second point.
