Could you confirm for us if you’re unable to exclude photos in both the Add Gallery window and through the Gallery > Manage Galleries dashboard? I just tested excluding images on my test site and I’m unable to reproduce. Also, try excluding more than one just in case it may be related to a certain number of excluded images on your particular gallery.

By the Add Gallery window, I can not exclude photos!(See the function not standing.)
Have then tested at the Manage Galleries dashboard, If I search the photo with the search function, I can not exclude a photo.
If I go to the folder where the photo is, then I can exclude it.
I used to be able to do this, for me it is easy with the search function, because I have more than 1500 photos on my website.

Thank you for confirming your results with the Manage Galleries page vs the Add Gallery window… hmm… There shouldn’t have been anything in our update to break the sorting or excluding. The majority of the update only changed the styling of the plugin settings in the dashboard. Could you try for me, deactivating all other plugins temporarily, except for NextGEN Gallery, and try sorting and excluding the images again? Does that help? Please also try sorting/excluding in a different browser. Keep me posted on your results. 🙂
