    Hi there,

We have one product that will include shipping in the cost and will be sent seperately.

Is there a way to exclude this product in the shipping calculations or set it to send seperately?

At the moment I have orders over £45 qualify for free shipping. If they order this particular product including shipping already, I want the value of the other products in the basket to be £45 before the free shipping applies.

Is there a way to set this somehow? Whatever the workaround might be, so long as it works.

    Thanks!

So the product needs to add it’s price to the cart, but at the same time the cart total value is the trigger for free shipping, correct?

Yes… in the Woocommerce Settings > Shipping > Free Shipping is set as ‘Free shipping requires Minimum Order Amount” of 45.

For this product I want it to ignore that calculation.

    For example:

That product is £30 (and is the only product on the site to including shipping)
Other products in the cart total £40.
Cart total is £70, but the ‘other products’ have not met the £45 minimum, so the ‘Free Shipping’ option will not display.

    Hope that makes sense!

    Thanks

    Hi @ehmarketing,

Thanks for the added clarification. It will be quite challenging to implement this logic with the inbuilt free shipping functionality, unless you opt to use custom coding. This is because the inbuilt Free Shipping functionality has no way of excluding certain products when checking the minimum order amount.
    * For custom coding assistance, you could consult with experts on the WooCommerce Customizations Page.

I would also suggest using plugins that come with advanced shipping rules to allow you to have greater control on shipping costs, such as:
    * Advanced Flat Rate Shipping Method for WooCommerce
    – for more info, check the documentation or create a ticket with us.
    * Conditional shipping & Advanced Flat rate shipping for WooCommerce – it’s a third party plugin, so you could get in touch with the plugin authors on the support section of the plugin page.

Hope this helps, we’ll be happy to be of further assistance.
    Thanks.
