Exclude single posts or tags from post notifications

    Is there any posibility to exclude single tags (not only categories) from posts notifications or mark a new post to “don’t send notification”? That would be a great extension for the plugin (otherwise a small functions php hack would also be sufficient). Thanks

    Hi @mezzox87,

    Thanks for sharing your queries with us.

    Currently, posts can only be included/excluded from post notifications emails based on their categories. But we have noted down your request. If requested by multiple users, then we can consider adding it to the plugin. We will let you know when this goes out.

    Also at present, there isn’t any option to “don’t send notification” for a new post, but you can achieve it indirectly through post categories. While publishing the post, if the post doesn’t have matching categories as set in the post notification campaign, then it won’t be included.

    Thanks for your fast reply. The workaround with the excluded category works fine and I can change the category easily direct after publishing the post.

    A “Do not send/Exlude” option/checkbox for a single post would still be a nice feature especially for scheduled posts, where I can’t directly change the category manually after publishing.
