The alert was added in the new version to inform users that their settings have been saved correctly.
We’re not sure if this alert is affecting the normal functioning of any part of your setup. Could you please let us know if you have noticed any issues or errors?

Hi, is there a way we can turn off the message? It’s confusing for my clients, and it’s usually best when it’s working seamlessly in the background instead of flashing unnecessary messages every page or post save. Otherwise a SUPER useful plugin thanks!

It’s not affecting the functionality of the site but I agree with @joshfg that it would be best not to see it. I have not previously tested to see if the message adds extra time before seeing the Page saved message but I was under the impression that the extra message added a little extra time.
