Excludes too much

    The plugin excludes the category from the frontpage, as it should.
    But… It also totally disables image galleries in posts in that category.

    Any ideas?

    Just installed the plugin minutes ago & noticed this too. It totally disabled featured images on posts with categories not excluded on plugin. Hope this gets fix soon.

    It sounds to me like the plugin is doing what it’s intended to do i.e. excluding things from a category. Sorry that it’s behavior doesn’t match what you’re looking for. There are no tricks or hidden settings with the plugin so I generally recommend that if it isn’t working as desired, it’s best to check out other plugins that might work differently.

    No offense, but after six months this is your reply?

    Allow me to quote from the plugin’s description to illustrate why I disagree with your conclusion:

    exclude categories from your front page, archives, feeds, and searches

    this says nothing about image galleries in individual posts nor featured images that no longer work while they are not even in the excluded category.

    Anyway, I decided to take another approach.
