Excluding categories from certain divs

Greetings! I would like to exclude on my website ( http://www.portugalgt.com ) some categories from certain divs to prevent double posts on the homepage.

More specifically, I would like to exclude the category “Virtual” from the “featured news” div and the “more news” div, appearing only in the middle one, where the “Galeria” div is.

Honestly I know very little about coding but I usually manage. But I’ve been trying all morning googling a solution for this with no success.
I would really appreciate your help, thanks in advance guys.
