I’m trying to find information on how to exclude a domain from Yoast’s optimization. I wasn’t quite sure what to search for.

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi @rtiemeyer

Would it be possible for you to provide us with more information on exactly what it is you would like to do?

Do you mean you’d like to disable the indexables (part of the SEO data optimization process under SEO > Tools) for a particular website that is using Yoast SEO?

If so, you can take a look at a recent filter we introduced:

Adds a filter to enable/disable creating indexables: Yoast\WP\SEO\should_index_indexables

    Thanks for the reply Michael!

I do not understand what exactly they are saying to me but this is what they said:

This is for a company called CallRail.

You need to make sure you have whitelisted the CallRail script from all caching systems you have installed on your webpage?

the DNI is not working so it is likely that Yoast plugin is causing issues. You’ll need to exclude cdn.callrail.com.

Yoast is known to cause issues with our javascript, and this is typically resolved with excluding domain.

    Again, thank you for replying!

Another thing they said to me is this:

let them know that you are seeking assistance on excluding a domain (cdn.callrail.com) from the Yoast Plugin.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

We’re not quite sure we understand. You’ve mentioned a request to exclude the domain cdn.callrail.com from the Yoast SEO plugin.

Could you let us know exactly what issue you’re having with the Yoast SEO plugin on your website?

    Thanks again for the reply.

    Sounds good!

CallRail says that the Yoast SEO Plugin is caching one of their JavaScript codes and we need to exclude the “cdn.callrail.com” from the sitemap to get their script to run and start working.

    Thank you!

    Hi @rtiemeyer

We’re not familiar with how the Yoast SEO plugin is affecting the JavaScript code from that third-party site but you can likely refer them to our developer portal for all available customizations if you would like to modify our default output – https://developer.yoast.com/features/xml-sitemaps/api/ & https://developer.yoast.com/
