I’m using a popup to prompt users to subscribe to my e-newsletter (which is handled through Mailchimp). Accordingly, I’d like to prevent the popup from launching for users who have come to my site from the e-newsletter (since obviously existing subscribers don’t need to subscribe).

Is there a way to tell the popup not to launch if a user is directed to the page from a Mailchimp URL (i.e. anything from us10.list-manage.com)?

You could use referral display rule and match list-manage.com or whatever generic url they are coming from.

Thanks for the feedback. The way the referral rules work, however, will it honor all URLs from the domain specified or only the particular URL set in the rule?

For example, if I set the rule to not show the popup on referrals from “list-manage.com”, will the popup also not show if someone comes from “list-manage.com/abc”?
