Just create a product list with the selected categories (Type: Dynamic Request) and add the products(exclude) in the exclude list.

I just created a product list as per your instructions and put all the categories for my store then the 11 items that should be excluded in the exclude section. I set up a quantity based discount that increases the percentage off based off how many of an item are purchased no matter the variation of the item (size, color, etc.). On my mobile phone, I went to site as a customer and chose 2 shirts with different sizes but one style as well as 4 of the excluded items to see what would happen. No discount was given on the shirts as it should have been. I have tried the transaction with and without the “Consider variations as a single product” being turned on.

By using discount on product quantity, the discount will be applied based on the individual product quantity (if “Consider variations as a single product” is turned on, it will consider the whole variations count as a single product count). Please make sure you are having the products on the list in the cart and the quantity of these products comes within the discount range.
The discount has failed to apply for each scenario. I wanted to see how this plugin would work with the free features before purchasing the pro version. On the surface, it seemed this plugin would meet my needs, but not if I can’t get it to actually work.

Hi,
Sorry for the delay, can you please make sure you have the rules set on the ‘Rules and Restrictions’ tab (can see a incomplete selection in the ‘Rules and Restrictions’ section) or please remove the group if are not using the same. We have tried the same settings on our demo, cannot see any issues on the product list, seems working fine.
Please get back to us if are still facing any issues with the list.

Also one more thing, can you please try setting the rule to ‘All Products’, just to check if the ‘Product list’ selection is causing the issue or any settings in the ‘Pricing Rules’ section.
I don’t understand how to use the Rules and Restrictions tab. Can you explain or are there instruction for what each item means? (product price, cart total amount)
