Hello @m1ha1b
Thank you for the support topic, AMP plugin does generate or place any ads on your site. you may be using a third-party plugin to place ads on your site.
Google Site kit adds AMP auto ads on your site, the placement of auto ads are detected by the AdSense algorithm after learning your page structure and detecting most suitable place.
You can learn more about Google Auto ads in this article
If you are looking to place ad-units, We will recommend using plugins such as Advanced Ads or Ad Inserter to place ads and control where you want them to display.
Hope this information is helpful
We don’t see the AMP plugin being active on your site at the movement can you please activate the AMP plugin and share an example URL, so we can assist your further.

You are right, Google Site place the ads based by AdSense detection. The problem is that if I activate AMP there are some „third party” ads that are detected by Google AdSense.
I made experiments and I use AdSense to look at may page structure and offer me ads with and without AMP active.
That is why you did not see AMP active when you looked. Now is active.
Anyway, in the pictures you can see the result from AdSense when AMP was not active https://ibb.co/QfLDJHt
And the results when I activate AMP

There are two ads that appear and are considered by AdSense as „third party ads”. I do not have control over them. The ads disappear only when I deactivate AMP.
Hello @m1ha1b
Thank you for keeping the plugin active as we checked the ads are added by amp-auto-ads component which is placed by the google site kit plugin.
I am not sure why they are marked as third-party ads, it will be best to contact Adsense support as they can guide you better about your experience.
If you want to have control over ads placement I will recommend placing single ad unit code using the Ad Inserter plugin.
Hope this is helpful!

Hi,
Hi think that here is a problem: as you say, the ads are placed by the amp-auto-ads component, but, because of a bug, this component did not communicate with the google site kit plugin.
Adsense let me control all the ads already. The only one that I can’t control is the one managed by your plugin. It is obvious that the problem starts from the AMP component and from there has to be resolved.
I already have AMP and Google Site Kit. I do not consider that I need another plugin that inserts ads. Booth, AMP, and Google Site Kit are developed under Google guidance so I think that the problem has to be resolved somewhere around AMP.
Probably, AMP could have an option for not placing ads in the desktop version of the site… Maybe is a conflict between AMP and Site Kit… That is why I am asking for help.
Sorry we can’t be more of assistance as the issue seems to be related to AMP upstream, We will recommend contacting AMP Support, We can assist you for issues related to AMP WordPress plugin.
Just to clarify, the AMP plugin for WordPress does not provide any feature or functionality to place ads on your site.
Google Site kit plugins add Auto ads component which can place ads automatically where it considers best suited on your site.
As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you require any further assistance.
