This existing form (built from “simple contact form” template no longer will SAVE.
Clicking SAVE just hangs forever on “Saving…”.

I am able to create other forms on the same site and they successfully SAVE.

To date I’ve had no trouble with SAVE until now.
This SAVE problem was observed when trying to make additions and changes to the form.

  • Hi mphhpm,

I’m sorry to hear you’re seeing issues with this!

Based on your description, the most likely cause is a code conflict. What we see sometimes is that a theme or other plugins might run their code throughout the admin area (rather than containing it just to their own admin pages) — and this can create issues like what you’re seeing in the form builder.

The best way to sort this out is by following the steps in WPBeginner’s troubleshooting tutorial.

I hope this helps! When you’ve had a chance to work through that tutorial, could you please let me know how it goes?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

It’s not okay to talk about, like the problem is elsewhere. The problem is with you. I can’t save any form I make, just the endless “Saving …”.As I see it in the forums, this problem has existed for years. So, I installed the plugin (lite) on pure WordPress (to test it), just WP and nothing more, there is no problem with other plugins, there are none. The server is just fine, regulary updated, PREMIUM. In the last 8 years, I have not had a problem with any plugin so far.
I think the point of a lite (free) plugin is to try it out before it is purchased.
And yes, please don’t insult my intelligence, don’t sell me marketing crap, read this or that. If you have a solution, GREAT, if you don’t have, Gravity Froms here I am.

    Hi,

Like I said, it’s a WPForm problem. Security issue. Regardless to cPanel and Mod Security, there is an issue with OWAS ModSecurity rules no. 942190, 949110, 980130. When this rules are off, WPForm works fine. When it’s on – disaster. So, WPForm or security?
Same issue have Ninja Forms and several others, but Formidable Forms and Gravity Forms don’t. And of course Contact 7 forms.

Question is: Security-users or money? It’s up to you.

Bast regards, and good day to you.
