Exiting Image Thick Box

Hello

I was wondering if its possible to somehow set the image thick box feature to close the image when you click anywhere else on the website (out of the image thick box area). Its currently pre-set to close the image only if you click on the X button, which may be a bit annoying. I think that it would be a lot better UX wise if the image could be also closed by clicking out of the image area, is this possible?
