Expected 301 Found 404, Agent: Not using Redirection

Thanks for the clean plugin.
I found your plugin through a tutorial about fixing broken backlinks with 301 redirects:

Here, the author finds 404s and uses 301s to redirect to an active page.

After reading the FAQs, I wonder if this is still possible, as you mention not to redirect all 404s? I am not able to redirect these deleted urls to a landing page and get this error:

`Check redirect for: https://www.[domain].com/prod.htm
Expected: 301 to https://www.[domain].com

Found: 404

Agent: Not using Redirection`

I’ve tried many different combinations but am a bit stuck now. Am I missing something?
