Expired post not changing (Nginx-server)

Hi! I am using this plugin on my development site. Like some other has posted, I set the date for the post, I have tried both custom post types (which is my preference) as well as the original posts.

I can see in the area “Post Expirator Options -> Diagnostics” that the posts are getting expired, but the actual posts hasn’t changed status, to draft nor private (tried both).

The site is on an Nginx-server, could this effect? I have seen statements from the plugin author that this plugin is tested on Linux machines only. If so, is there anyone with tips in which direction in the code I should start poking to make any changes?
