We believe you are using Microsoft Excel for viewing the exported data. If yes, please note that this is not an issue with our plugin. This is an issue with Excel. The generated CSV file uses a UTF-8 character encoding, but Excel tries to read it using a different encoding and does not give the option to choose a different one to the user.
To view the CSV files that contain Unicode characters like in your case, we recommend using Google Sheets (if you have a Google account) or Libre Office, which is completely free and open-source and a bit more powerful when using CSV files. If you need to use Microsoft Excel, you can export the CSV file to Excel file using the Google Sheets/Libre Office and use it in Microsoft Excel.

So sorry to have bothered you with this stupid question. The CSV Export is fine and it opens perfectly fine in excel as well. (When i choose the correct format of the csv)
