Export data not correct or complete

    Hi,

    I am trying to export from connections. I selected the following option: Connections —> Tools —-> Export All. The excel file is generated quickly but has a few issues. For example, some lines have no data, some data is in the wrong place, column titles do not matching the ones in Connections, not all entries exported.

    It would be most helpful to have some ideas on how to get things to work correctly. Thanks.

    It sounds as you may need to adjust your import settings for CSV file in Excel. CSV export files from Connections are exported with commas used to delimit fields and using double-quotes for enclosing fields.

    Alternatively, I recommend using either Google Sheets or LibreOffice for importing CSV file as they more reliable import CSV files. It is not that Excel is bad, it does thing silently in the background to be “helpful” based on the configuration of the user local setting.
