Mmm, I’ve a MS install, so it’s a straight forward copy past from one sub-site to another then save – the export / import doesn’t work for me I still have to go through and copy paste each ‘different’ setting by hand.
I had difference in:
General Settings
Show & Hide
Plus in ‘Phrases:
Form
Comment
Basically nothing of the export pasted into import and saved made any difference.

It’s not tested on WP MultiSite yet. If plugin is not installed for network it use the same wp_options table so you’ll not see any changes. If plugin is installed separately for each subsite it’ll use subsite specific option table.
If I recall correctly I initiated it as network activated BUT couldn’t find a ‘settings’ as network level (which is what you’d expect if one set of settings were to be applied to all sites) so I deactivated as networked and activated it for the specific sites I wanted to use it for. (yes, this is what I did)
So, I ‘have’ copied and pasted from two ‘implied’ independent sites and it doesn’t work. Also, I only copied and pasted because the setting in the second site were all the default settings of a new install.
Neither of these two sub domain sites this plugin is active on is my ‘base’ domain site.
You need to make it clear in a message when it’s first activated on an MS install how it actually works for a MS.
