    Encountered issue(s):

When I export a table for example of three columns of TablePress in cvs and I want to import it there is only the last column and only one row that is rendered.

I can’t see where it comes from I tried to remove what’s in option, but it doesn’t work anyway.

    Kind regards.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Just to be sure: Are you trying to export and import table 1 or table 3 from your link? Is the exported CSV file opening and showing properly e.g. when opening it with Excel? And then, when you re-import that CSV file into TablePress, the columns are wrong? Can you please upload that CSV file on your site and post the link to the CSV file here?

    Regards,
    Tobias

I try to export and import a table here I took 2 but the problem is on all the tables I export from the function export dd plugin? Exported CSV file opens and displays correctly, when opened with Excel? And when I import that CSV file back into TablePress, only one column remains.

    Hi,

it looks like your table contains another table embedded in a cell? That would be very strange and it seems like this is causing problems here.

What’s the purpose of the the other table inside this table? Also, there’s even more other HTML code in that table that is redundant, like those <p> tags. Where are all those coming from?

    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,
great indeed I had a table within a table.
    So how do
    1) to avoid there being so much space between two names see link below?
    2) To color first and last names?

    Best regards.

    Hi,

I’m not sure what you mean here. What names do you mean? Also, I only see a picture of the table now?

How can we decrease the distance (the arrow indicates the distance). Before with my table, the text which is to the right of the arrow, allowed me to reduce this distance because I only saw part of the table, with an elevator I could scroll the text to see the rest of the content.
Hope this is more clear for you, thanks again Tobias

    Hi,

well this distance is the result of the size/length of the third column… You will have to make that text shorter. You could try reducing the width of columns 1 and 2 here maybe, via https://tablepress.org/faq/column-widths/ so that column 3 has more space. Then, it should not be that high.

    Hi,
Indeed it is a solution, but I liked this possibility of having the possibility of having an elevator on the side, but I kept your remark.

    Thanks again Tobias.

    Best regards.
