    Hi,

    The events calendar export options are not working. This issue has been going on for a while now and I am not sure what is going on. I thought the most recent update would address this but it still has not.

    The ics. export option does not work, the Google Calendar option syncs but then is blank, and the iCalendar option keeps giving an error why trying to sync.

    Yikes! That is both not good and a bit surprising.

    Let’s find out what is going on.
    I have a couple of questions to help narrow this down.

    1. Are you using Block or Classic Editor?
    2. Are you using our Updated designs?
    3. Are you referring to the single event export or to the calendar subscription?
    4. Are you using PHP 8?

    >> Updated design? Not sure what you mean but I am on version 5.14.1

    Are you referring to the single event export or to the calendar subscription?
    >> Both; For single event neither the add to google or ical work. For calendar subscription neither the google, ical, or ics option works.

    Are you using PHP 8?
    >> No, 7.4

    It’s odd because a few months ago this feature worked perfectly fine. One day it just stopped.

    Thank you for your answers.

    Based on what I am seeing it looks like something is blocking the subscribe functionality on your site.

    This is typically due to one of the following reasons:

    1. A security plugin or firewall is getting in the way. I am not sure if you are using those, but if you do, you might want to check the logs.
    2. A caching plugin is interfering. You might need to configure things a bit for proper functioning. Please check out the different knowledge base articles on this topic here.
    3. Last but not least, it’s possible that there is a conflict with one of your plugins or with your theme (especially if it contains customizations). On a staging site, we recommend you go through our testing for conflicts procedure. It’s a bit tedious, but it’s the fastest way to find the culprit.
