Export Role

Any chance of a an export feature for roles because I create bespoke roles for various purposes.

In many situations and across different websites, it would be great to just upload a user role to a site and voila all the settings you want are in place.

Instead you have to think about what each control does again and figure out the best set of capabilities and controls. In short you tick a few boxes, log out and log in with that user role to see what changes it made. If wrong go back to admin and change. Keep following the process until done.

With export for me it would mean set up the roles on one site, 10 roles just so you have plenty of options and then import those to other sites.

This is really useful if you are using the plugin manager or other extensions.

No brainier as far as I’m concerned and exporting settings is a standard feature on many plugins these days.
