It’s a premium/paid plugin, but I use BackupBuddy to do this.

Bet thanks for the suggestions. Manual migration works in a pinch, but it’s tedious. Especially with newer themes and plugins the manual option often does not take everything needed with it. For example slide shows.
BackupBuddy does not appear to have documentation specific to this, any chance you’ve got a link to something I could poke at?

It’s still technically in beta for BackupBuddy, and has been for years. But it does mostly work.
I know there are a few other plugins out there that theoretically do this too, but I’m most familiar with BUB. If you are a BUB customer, there is a specific support forum for multisite.
