Export/Import posts does not work?

    I’ve installed a wordpress blog on another server and wanted to migrate all the posts/comments/categories etc. (without images at the moment!) to this all new installation.

    Export works pretty fine, i’m getting a 9 MB .xml file.
    In the import process on step two, i don’t choose any specific option (so it should be “import all authors”?) and i do not tick “download and import media”.

    When all is done, Categories and tags are imported.
    But there are NO posts! Whats wrong there?
