exporting multisite database from phpmyadmin doesn't respond

    I am in charge of a University wordpress multisite that allows lecturers create their own blogs/sites.Whenever i click on the export tap of the phpmyadmin, it shows nothing. Pls i dearly want to make a backup of my database as our electricity supply is not stable and can easily crash the database anytime soon. Thank you.

    Are you trying to export the entire database at once? If so, maybe try exporting one table at a time. I have seen servers hit memory and timeout issues with large exports.
