Express Checkout – Extra Data Not Captured

    Hi – I am using Woocommerce+Stripe+Extra Product Data plugin. I notice when I enable Express Checkout (Google /Apple Pay) on your plugin that the extra data collected is lost even though the transaction complete. I checked with the Extra Product Info plugin and they say their plugin is incompatible as the customer must go through the normal checkout process.

    Can you advise if you have seen this issue before or are aware of a compatible plugin that works with your to collect extra Woocommerce Product Data (in a form/fields) and works with your Google/Apple pay Express Checkout?

    Do you currently have express payment buttons on your product page? If so, it might be worth considering moving these buttons to the cart page. Placing express payment options there could offer customers greater flexibility by allowing them to browse and add items before finalizing their purchase. This adjustment might enhance the overall shopping experience.

    This issue should not occur when using the express payment buttons on cart page. Our plugin is not equipped to handle additional product options or related calculations, so adding compatibility for this feature is not feasible at this time.

    Thats a great suggestion! I have enabled on the CART page only and will see what happens.
