Hi I have spent an hour eliminating other plugins as the possible cause of this issue.

Detail of problem:
Once Express Curate is active, It becomes impossible to change the background colour of any column inside visual composer.
You can set it in design options and save changes but when you go to Update page it loses any and all changes related to color as described.
I believe this thread may well be related, as the poster above mentions page builder problems but doesn’t say what exactly.
As suggested in the quoted thread I have emailed you with details of my system.
Hi just a follow up.
It really does seem to be stripping the code, this is quite SCARY.
I disabled express curate and made the colour changes I wanted, saved it ok and all was well…. Until
I came back and made an unrelated change to my wp page after express curate was again activated and when I saved the page it stripped all the background colours out leaving me back at square one.
I hope others can be warned about this particular behaviour so they don’t lose any work or time searching for the cause.
I hope this can be fixed pronto, until then I will have to unfortunately leave this plug in de-active state.
