extend artist as program

    i am using gigpress to manage the schedule for http://bostoncamerata.org/blog/upcoming/ but have repurposed artist as program. i would like to have a listing of programs as well as shows, and add a description field to artist/program.

    is there a way to create a child so that my changes are not lost on update?

    Could you please specify exactly what you mean by “repurposed artist as program”? Do you mean wp-admin > GigPress > Settings > “Artist label” is set to “Program”?

    basically, yes, but i’d like to add a description field to the artist table.

    Hey @airdrummer,

    Sorry for the long wait.
    I’m afraid it would require some extensive coding to achieve that.
    Did you take a look at our other plugin The Events Calendar? I believe that could handle what you need.

    sorry no, event cal doesn’t handle it, that’s why i use gigpress. i’ve already made the changes on my dev.website; i’d be happy to share;-)
