Hi quix8!
I could recommend myself, because I have already added that feature and even created a pull-request to include it in the original code at https://github.com/h5p/h5p-dialogcards/pull/86. The H5P core team may take a look at that pull-request when they find some time – and hopefully they’ll accept it. So you can have it for free if you want to 😉
Cheers,
Oliver

@otacke That is awesome!!
I hope this gets included soon, thank you very much!
I will try to grab the code and test it for us, but it might get overwritten by updates right?
I m not so deep into the h5p universe, but would it be also an option to release your own plugin for “h5p Dialog Cards Extended”, so you have a separate h5p content type.
@quix8 If you install the changed library, it will update the library version (and change the data structure of existing content), so I do not recommend to test this on a productive system. Yes, once the library version of the official content type version gets higher, the changes will be overwritten – and if my pull request had not been accepted by then, then your existing content would not work any longer.
Nope, I will not maintain a fork. Neither do I have the time, nor does it make sense to have two nearly identical content types in my opinion.

@otacke ok yes this makes sense.
You got no feedback so far? I see your PR is open since half a year? :/
@quix8 Correct. But the H5P core team is reading these comments here as well, so I assume they’ll join the conversation soon.

@otacke I really hope so. Maybe they are in vacation at the moment. 🙂
