It’s certainly possible. If you wanted to have a go yourself then you’d need an Engine class (see classes/Engines/Edd.php), update find_engine in classes/Settings.php to detect RCP and trigger loading of the right engine, and a small bit of JS (see js/crfw-edd.js).
