Extra capability field not working

    Hi! I am trying to remove menu items for users who don’t have a particular capability and I am putting that into the “Extra capability” field but the menu item is still showing for those users. Why isn’t this working?

    Which menu item is it and which capability?

    If it’s a top level menu, you’ll need to make the same change for all of its submenu items. In WordPress, a top level menu stays visible as long as it has at least one visible item.
