    On the new TablePress v.1.8 it appears that I can’t leave the field Extra CSS Class empty or it throws an error:
    The entered value in the field “Extra CSS classes” is invalid.

    Sometimes I have a class and sometimes I don’t.

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    That’s strange. I have never received that warning before, and I have not received any reports about this from someone else.

    Can you maybe create a screenshot of this? Is it happening on a different computer with the same browser as well?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    I am having trouble changing the column widths. I am working on my development computer (localhost), not my live site.

    I add this to the extras css clases box: .tablepress-id-1 .column-2 { padding: 4px; }

    I get this error message: The entered value in the field “Extra CSS classes” is invalid.

    Please help me fix this

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    You are entering this into the wrong field. Please paste that code into the “Custom CSS” text are on the “Plugin Options” screen of TablePress.

    Regards,
    Tobias
