Extra space in message

I have added the following code to my site wide message. But, for some reason, an extra space keeps appearing after “Conferences” no matter what I do. Can you tell me how to get rid of this extra space – it makes it look like there is a typo in my website copy. See http://beta.careyinstitute.org
