Extrac Ongoing Event Asociated Data

    Hello,

    I`m working on a radio website. We schedule all events with your pluggin. Congrats for your pluggin.

    Now, we are changing the player for the programs. We want to show in the player these datas for each ongoing events :

    Name of the program.
    Start time
    End time.
    Image of the program.

    We want that when the program is in streaing we can show in the player the datas.

    Can I extract this data from the pluggin?

    I try it by myself but I cannot get it. I`m not an expert.

    Hi @machaca44,
    Ongoing Events widget shows Event Title and Start Time – End Time. You may also override to show featured image of event referring to this topic

    I override the files in my child theme but it doesn`t work.

    In wich file and in what line I have to add:

    The most urgent and important question is to know how our player (other pluggin) can extract form you pluggin the following info:

    Name of the program.
    Start time
    End time.
    Image of the program.

    Your widget runs well and extract the info internally when I select to show ongoing events.

    So if it`s possible to extract to the playyer plugin these (ongoing events) info as you do internally we will show the asociated datas of program in streaming in the player/reproductor.

    I hope now my purpose are cleared.

    Hi@machaca44,
    We are sorry for a delay. You should contact developers of your player (other plugin) to learn how to extend it with information from custom post types.
