I’d like to answer as follows:
Did you check other LMS solutions? I’ve tried some cloud based solutions, e.g. German blink.it. There you’ll have at least 29,- Euro each month for the basic package. With less flexibility. Others are similar. Or have a look at udemy.com. They’ll take 50% of your turnover (or more, depending what marketing functions you’ve chosen).
So, yes – it’s not cheap if you need payment functions. But it’s also not expensive for so much features you’ll get.
If you want to get a good product with good quality, you can’t expect to get it for free…I don’t like this “all for nothing” mentality.

I read and internalize all reviews and do my best to address issues with our software as rapidly as I can. The price is not going to change though. We offer a very substantial feature set for free and if you start making money with LifterLMS a $99 price tag is almost nothing. If you don’t see the value, don’t use LifterLMS. There are a number of other free LMSs out there that may server you better and that’s alright.
