It shouldn’t take this much time to load. Maybe any of your plugin is conflicting with theme js or preventing it to load. Try to deactivate your plugin one by one and check if this resolve your issue.
You can also use any cache plugin to to to boost page load speed.

I tried to deactivate all plugins. Nothing changed. Seems like before appears the homepage, the site loads all the articles that I have on this site. How can I change that?

Copy the code from here. Open frontech/home-blog.php file and replace all the code.
