Extremely Slow

I like this plugin, as I’m using Advanced Custom Fields and I want my search to search through custom fields. However, this plugin is apparently taking up a lot of resources. When I run P3 Profiler, it ends up taking 50% of the resources.

Are there things that can be tweaked to fix or diminish this?
