Can I change the fa-cogs to something else – the machinery-type-cogs don’t fit my site idea at all?
I tried a few other codes, but they don’t show in the circle, it’s just empty.

Hello,

You can use FontAwesome icons. Latest version of FontAwesome is used in the theme (version 4.3). Please try these icons. Eg, fa-bank, fa-cloud, fa-cube.

Thanks so much for this! I was now able to find a FontAwesome icon cheatsheet with all the icons available and their CSS classes here: http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/cheatsheet/
