thanks for the heads up.
Using the new FB API would lead to a very limited amount of daily requests.
Please use the sharedcount.com service. This still works fine with up to 10000 daily requests.
I will communicate this with a new MashShare update.

I’ve updated plugin and using sharedcount.com, but site giving me 522 and 524 error sometimes. Is there any other service for share count other than sharedcount.com? It is allowing only 10000 requests.

There is no other service integrated in MashShare.
10.000 / day is more than enough even for huge websites. You just need to increase the mashshare cache expiration time.

Sharedcount.com doesn’t include 10.000 hits a day. Only 1.000.
It is now only 500! And they are asking for a ridiculous amount of money if you want to upgrade. I have about 3000 unique visitors daily and my count is around 2000, which means 75% of my shares are not counted!

Just set the MashShare Cache expiration time to 24 hours. This should bypass the issue.
I am going to release a new update soon which lowers the requests even more by refreshing the share count for old posts less frequently.
I’ve done it but I’m still getting like 2000 requests with 3000 unique visitors daily. Weird. I reckon the Caching method should be set to “Refresh while loading”, right?

Yes, ” Refresh while loading ” is right. How many posts do you have?
Such a high number of requests is strange. Even when you have thousands of posts it would be difficult to get such high numbers of requests. This would mean every second visitor opens another page. This is unlikely for regular websites which have a few very popular posts. Not all of the posts are opened at the same time. Especially old ones are not opened up that often.
Do you see the number of requests in your sharedcount.com dashboard?
