    at halfwaytoconcord.com I created a facebook app and entered app id for fb comments and it seems to work although I am suffering from other issues right now with cloudflare blocking feedpress post feed. That said,

    if all i need is an app ID to connect FB comments to post comments or feedpress feed to timeline, do you really have to go thru all the hassle of setting up the FB app with all the images and stories, etc.? or just get the app and leave it?

    If you just let it go will you ever get any data for it if app is only in “development” mode?

    You can just get the app and leave it. All you need is the App ID and it set up to connect to your site. Everything else simply optimises the App for use
