Hi @gbwallace –
I’d recommend disconnecting your Facebook account and pages from Jetpack and reconnecting. We have instructions for that here:
https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-social/facebook/#reconnecting-facebook
Please let us know if you continue to have issues.

I did that. When I go to reconnect jetpack remembers how I signed in before. I need jetpack not to remember my previous login. The first time I set this up, I had to find my Facebook user_id by right clicking on my Facebook page and doing a search for my User_id. Then I entered that info in Jetpack. I want to change that user_id.
Hi @gbwallace –
Thanks for giving that a try. I made an adjustment on our end, could you try adding your Facebook connection again?
Let us know how it goes.

Nothing has changed. It still points to my Meta business Suite instead of my main facebook page.
Hi @gbwallace – Have you tried removing WordPress from your Facebook Business Integrations here? That should clear your previous connection and allow you to start fresh.

Hi Dan, yes I tried that. Facebook does not appear there.
Hi @gbwallace
Could send us the Facebook page URL so we can take a look?
If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.
Thanks!

Hi @gbwallace –
The Facebook URL you shared above is a personal profile, not a page. Jetpack Social can’t share to personal profiles due to a Facebook change to their platform. Unfortunately, if this is the FB URL you want to share to, it won’t work.

I was beginning to come to that conclusion. Is there a plug-in you know of that will accomplish the same thing?
Unfortunately, no plugins are able to do this due to the changes Facebook made. You can reach out to Facebook about it here:
https://www.facebook.com/help/
Otherwise, you might consider starting a separate Facebook page for your blog and then sharing to that.
I’m going to mark this thread as resolved. If you have additional questions about Jetpack in the future, feel free to open a new thread.
