After today’s update, I’ve the same problem:
facebook count stopped working on sharing icons
Same problem, and after disconnecting i can’t connect to the pages i manage, only my personal page
In the same predicament as the rest of you. Currently running an activism campaign i.e. http://www.knysnakeep.org. People, psychologically, more likely to Share if others have before them. Stats absence missed on that site and others of mine.
same issue here. Facebook counts are gone, I think since the last update.
I updated yesterday morning to WP 4.2.1 and Jetpack 3,5.

Also have the same issue, BUT i’m still using 3.4.3, so I don’t think it’s update related. Guess some issue on FB’s end. Hopefully it gets sorted out soon.

Thanks for the reports! Facebook has recently changed the way that their API counts shares. Due to this change, the current method of counting shares that Jetpack uses is not working. We are planning to release an update to Jetpack soon which will address this issue. We’ll let you know as soon as we have any additional news!
I’ve just updated to 3.5.3
The problem of Facebook count not showed is solved using “official buttons” option, but STILL exists with “only icons” option.

Hi Jeremy, I have the same issue as Annonnimmo. Have changed to official buttons but would like to return to icons only when possible. Please let us know what needs to be done. Thanks!
